Sally Hansen Triple Shine- "Hypnotical" Reveiw
January 01, 2014I recently had the opportunity to try Sally Hansen Triple Shine thanks to Influenster. I was selected to receive the Violet VoxBox, and this gem was waiting inside.
In the bottle Hypnotical appeared as though it would be a blue flakie with matching iridescent blue glitter. As soon as I started painting I realized that it was more of a glitter based polish with a few flakies here and there. The bottle also suggested that the glitter was suspended in a blue jelly, but on the nail it only gives a slightly blue hue. I feel as though it brightened the appearance of the white base color more than anything. The consistency was great for a glitter topper. I didn't have to fish for glitter at all. On the other hand, you might have noticed that I only have one flakie in my whole manicure. They were so sparse that I would have preferred if they had not been included in the mixture.
Overall, I liked the color but would have preferred that flakies had not been included in the overall mixture. I did notice that the polish was shinier than most glitter toppers.
Polishes used: Sally Hansen Triple Shine-"Hypnotical", Sally Hansen Diamond Strength-"Timeless White"
My shining moment was this manicure. Look at how crisp those lines are!

I'd like to see more layers of this!
ReplyDeleteI loooove that blue/green iridescent shift. I might have to pick this one up, I'd love to see it over a dark blue.
ReplyDeleteI thought about it, but it would have been a nightmare to get off once you start layering that much glitter. I was shocked at how well it covered with one coat.
ReplyDeleteI love your honest review :) and i think you should have a look to our Sally Hansen competition here: preen.me/tripleshine! You already have the perfect picture to enter.
