Textured Radial Gradient featuring Zoya and UberChic Beauty
November 03, 2016Textured Radial Gradient featuring Zoya and UberChic Beauty- Press sample
I hope you didn't expect me to swatch the Zoya Enchanted Winter 2016 collection and then put them in a drawer. This collection was far too pretty to skimp on nail art, and I happened to have a little extra time on my hands. While I may not be a radial gradient master, I want to make an effort to improve my technique. Today's post features my second attempt at a radial gradient, but this time I decided to up the challenge by using textured polish.
This is a mash up of Zoya Lorna, Zoya Alice, and a floral image from UberChic Beauty 7-01:
How this photographed is kind of odd because it gives me more of a patriotic feeling. In person, Zoya Lorna looked far less red, and much more plum like. I was intending this to be more of a berry mash up for winter, but I feel like I'm celebrating the Fourth of July. I still like the look regardless of what it makes me think of.
