Smoosh Mani featuring Joy Lacquer's The Indie Shop Customs
November 04, 2016Smoosh Mani featuring Joy Lacquer's The Indie Shop Customs- Press sample
Happy Friday! I hope you guys had a wonderful week. Today's post features Joy Lacquer's limited edition shades created for The Indie Shop event happening tomorrow in Torrence, CA. If you missed the swatches here's a link to Joy Lacquer's LE Shades for The Indie Shop November 2016.
If you have already seen the swatches, you know that I am quite smitten with these shades. They compliment each other quite well, so I decided to create a smoosh mani with them. This look features Joy Lacquer Ratatouille, But First Champagne, and Le Papillon.
If you've studied art in any form you might be familiar with the expressionist movement. These manis tend to remind me of that style of artwork. It was never an intentional outcome, but I find it quite soothing.
Products used
- Glisten & Glow- CTRL + ALT + DEL, HK Girl Top Coat
- Joy Lacquer- But First Champagne, Le Papillon, Ratatouille
- stamper
- Ulta- base coat
What do you guys think of smoosh style manis? Are they something you enjoy, or would you rather skip them?
If you enjoyed this mani, you can pick up these limited edition shades tomorrow at The Indie Shop in Torrence, CA. If you are unable to attend, keep an eye on the Joy Lacquer website for a listing after the event.
