Perfect Formula Nail Polish - Press sample

Success! It's finally Friday! I know some of you are back to school or will be going back soon. That's why I thought it would be the perfect time to share some business/school appropriate shades. These five shades are from Perfect Formula's The Perfect Color collection. The collection consists of nail strengthing shades that are toluene, formaldehyde, and dibutyl phthalate free.

Shine On

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Nude creme with gold glitter
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: Nudes can be really hit or miss for me. The gold glitter in this shade is what really made me enjoy it.

Dazzle

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Fuchsia creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: If you aren't the subtle type but still love cremes, this would be my top pick. It's just as loud in person as it is in this photo.

Flip Flop

Formula: Issues with self-leveling
Finish: Salmon creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: This doesn't have full, even coverage with three coats. I won't generally keep a nail polish that requires more than three coats for full coverage, so this one wasn't a winner for me. It's a great color, but the formula leaves something to be desired.

Field of Dreams

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Light purple creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: If brights aren't your thing this subtle purple might be the one. I've always been drawn to light, dusty purples like this.

Suede

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Light pink pearlescent creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: Pearlescent finishes can be difficult to apply due to the nature of the shimmer. I was very happy with how this shade applied. It was not at all streaky like other pearlescent shades I've seen.

You can currently purchase any of these shades for $15 plus s&h on the Perfect Formula website.
