Jove'e Co Nail Glam Review
December 11, 2015Press sample
I previously reviewed two out of three colors for the Jove'e Co. Nail Glam box. They were decent colors, and a good assortment for someone just getting into polish. I was given the opportunity to review for them again, and was happy to see a "work appropriate" assortment of colors.
Scalded Milk
Formula: Thin
Finish: Yellow leaning cream color
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: The formula on this was on the thin side. It seemed like I couldn't wipe enough polish off the brush no matter how many times I tried.
Push-up Bra
Formula: Thin and watery
Finish: Pale pink creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: I wasn't a fan of the coverage or formula. I think the color itself is nice, and I would enjoy it if the formula had provided full coverage.
Ramona's Box
Formula: Thin and streaky
Finish: Light pink creme
Coverage: 3 coats
Notes: I wasn't a fan of the formula or coverage, but I love the color.
Conclusion
I can't say that I would recommend Jove'e Co. based on this specific Nail Glam box. My past box was decent, but this one left a lot to be desired. The colors are nice, but I wouldn't use them again based on all of the formula issues.
Jhavon did offer to replace this box, and will be looking into the formula issues.
