Twin Beach Mani with Iced Lacquer
September 01, 2015I don't know if you guys have noticed, but twin manis are one of my favorite approaches to nail art. They help me get out of my comfort zone and challenge me to try new things. Tia (Iced Lacquer) and I discussed the idea of a twin mani for a little while before we settled on an idea. I suggested trying a beach mani because I was going to attend a Jaws themed party at the time.
If you aren't familiar with the process of a beach mani you can find the tutorial we used here.
My version of this mani turned out ok, but there are a few things I would change for future beach manis. I would pick a darker blue for the tips since the China Glaze isn't much darker than Zoya Rocky. I would also use a substantial amount of liquid latex to protect my fingers. The mani itself didn't take long, but the clean up was insane.
