Breedlove Hoops

You've most likely seen swatches of this glorious color, but I had to offer up my own. When Pretty & Polished released Maleficium I knew that I needed to have it. My patience paid off when they had their daylight savings sale.

I was recently contacted by VENeffect to try some of their anti-aging products. The products were created as an alternative to getting a prescription for estrogen cream. They sent over a pr packet and a the samples in the photo below.

I have some super sneaky friends, who ask sneaky discrete questions that lead to pretty polish. At one point in time I mentioned that I thought it would be fun to have a polish color designed after each of my cats (insert crazy cat lady jokes here). This is what Kendahl (Firecracker Lacquer) came up with:

I scored my first Love, Angeline from a friend's destash and instantly fell in love. I'm a huge fan of white crellies, so this was a good "first" for me.

I don't know if you've picked up on the trend yet, but I have a lot of wonderful customs thanks to my friends. This one was inspired by the WSU Cougs, and is quite appropriately named Coug It!

For those of you who didn't attend WSU, or aren't familiar with college football let me give you a little explanation. To "Coug It!" means that you screwed up big time. Either you were set up to win the game and lost thanks to a stupid mistake, or you simply couldn't do anything right. Urban Dictionary gives a description, but it only hits the surface.

Let's just say this polish is much nicer than what it feels like to coug it.

Do you ever have those moments where a color just calls to you? I had that happen when I Love Nail Polish announced their spring collection. Not only are the colors beautiful, but a bunch of them are wedding themed. Yes, I know tons of people get married each year. I just thought it was a fun coincidence.

The same friend who introduced me to Love, Angeline also gave me my first Jindie Nails. I had no idea she was sending it, so it was quite a treat!

Now that it's finally spring I figured it was time to share this adorable group custom by Finger Lickin' Lacquer. This was made for a group of polish lovers on Reddit.

Water marbles and I still don't get along, so I was really excited when Kendahl suggested we try a dry marble. We used the technique shown here.
