Baroness X Holiday Collection
December 03, 2014There's honestly nothing more exciting than opening up a box filled with holo polish. I had a vague idea of what these were going to look like, but text descriptions certainly didn't do them justice. Of all the holiday collections I have seen so far, this one is my favorite.
Silver & Gold
Silver & Gold is a clear polish with holographic glitter and irregularly shaped gold glitter. You might be surprised to hear that the holo glitter is more noticeable in lower light settings. If you live somewhere dark and dreary like I do, that's great news! The formula was a nice consistency. Pictured above is one coat over Sinful Colors GoGo Girl, with two coats on the ring finger.
Silver Snow Surfer
Silver Snow Surfer is a holographic textured polish. You guys know how particular I am about textures by now. The formula was quick drying, and not textured to the point of catching on everything. The first photo shows three coats with no top coat, the second with a top coat, and the third in a lower light setting. I really need to work on my nail art skills, but I think this color would make gorgeous textured snowflakes.
Guilded Holo
Guilded Holo is a gold holographic glitter polish. You could use it as a top coat if you wish, but there was nothing more stunning than building it up to full coverage. The swatches above show three coats with no base color. The formula was a nice consistency, and provided a ton of glitter.
Twinkle Lights
Twinkle Lights is a neon and iridescent glitter topper with a trace of holo glitter. The formula was super smooth, and provided a ton of glitter with each brush stroke. The swatches above show one coat over Zoya Purity.
I can't say enough about Baroness X's Holiday Collection. You should at least pick up one color, but if I am being honest, you might regret not getting the whole collection. Baroness X's Holiday Collection is available for purchase today.

Very pretty collection!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely! I can't choose a favorite among them since I like the look of all four.
