Honeybee Nail Art featuring Harunouta and Baroness X- Press sample

Hey guys! I'm having such a good time with my new Harunouta plates that I'm back with another mani and review. Before we dive into the plate review, I wanted to share my latest Baroness X purchase with you guys. This is Baroness X Vespertine, and it's freaking gorgeous!

If you look really closely you can see a slight pink shimmer in the light flare.

The cab topper is a much better representation of the pink shimmer in Baroness X Vespertine. I tried to capture it in a million different ways on my nails, but none of my attempts show it as well as this cab photo does.

Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Deep blue creme with holo glitter and pink shimmer
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Don't be fooled by the lack of pink shimmer in my swatches. It's definitely there in the polish. For some reason bright lights tend to wash out shimmers making them more difficult to capture.

Remember how I was talking about cute plates yesterday? Now this is a cute plate! It's also a bit atypical for the designs you might see on a stamping plate, but I think that's part of what makes it wonderful. I just love all of the unique forest animals and plants.

The beehive you see in the nail art above was created using a home blend of Firecracker Lacquer Canary Cavalcade and Zoya Noah. I couldn't quite find the mellow yellow/brown I was looking for, so I created my own. Oh the perks of art class!
