Zoya Naturel 3 Collection
January 06, 2017Zoya Naturel 3 Collection- Press sample
Hey guys! I'm sorry to have kept you waiting on the Zoya Naturel 3 collection for so long. I would have had these up for you sooner, but I had my wisdom teeth pulled the day before these arrived. There was no way I was going to do lip swatches on my chipmunk face, hence the longer wait.
Today I have the full Zoya Naturel 3 collection to share with you guys. This includes six new polish shades plus three new lipstick shades.
Zoya Naturel 3 |
Tatum
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: medium light nude cream with a warm base
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: This shade yellows me out for some reason, but I think it will be great for stamping. I might try to re-wear it when I get more of a tan in the summertime.
Cathy
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Light pinky nude cream
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: This is another shade I'm not sure about with my skin tone. It makes me pull more of an angry red tone. I will definitely use this for stamping, but I don't know if I will do another full mani with it.
Jill
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Lighter mauve cream nude
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I absolutely adore mauve. When I reach for a neutral shade, it's usually something in this family.
Mary
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Medium raisin cream
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: Now we're getting into the colors I was obsessed with in high school. Anything raisin, or brown-like was on my fingers and toes 24/7.
Gina
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Medium brown neutral cream
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: I'm not usually a fan of warmer browns like this, but I really enjoyed Gina.
Debbie
Formula: Nice consistency
Finish: Plum brown cream
Coverage: 2 coats
Notes: This is by far my favorite of the bunch. I love how this toes the line between brown and plum.
Zoya Cameron
Formula: This has a fairly smooth application.
Finish: Creamy nude with a satin finish
Coverage: As a nude, this shade was a bit more sheer than the other two lipsticks. I found that simply moving my mouth could rub off a some of the pigment. You may need to reapply this shade more frequently than Paisley and Maxwell.
Notes: I'm uncertain about this shade. Nude lipstick isn't usually my thing, but I might use it to create an ombre look in the future.
Zoya Paisley
Formula: The application was flawless.
Finish: Blush rose with a satin finish
Coverage: This has full coverage and wears well.
Notes: I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this shade by simply looking at the bullet. I thought it was quite enjoyable when I had it on.
Zoya Maxwell
Formula: The application was reasonably smooth. This does have the tendency to feather, so you have to be careful about that.
Finish: Deep plum with subtle fuchsia fleck in a matte finish
Coverage: I found this to have the best coverage of the three shades due to the pigmentation.
Notes: The fuchsia fleck is slightly more noticeable in person than it is in my photo. Upon removal I discovered that this shade stains, so be sure to have an oil cleanser ready to go.
The Zoya Naturel 3 collection is almost everything I wished it could be. Don't get me wrong, they're all pretty shades with a great formula. I'm just not sure if Tatum or Cathy really go with my skin tone. If anything I'm sure it will be used for stamping at a later date. As for the lipsticks, I really enjoyed Paisley and Maxwell, but I'm still on the fence about Cameron.
